X-BALAM SIDEMOUNT
The X-Balam sidemount sidemount side diving system from the Kave series of TDS, has been developed entirely by the instructors of Cuevas in Playa del Carmen, the cradle of cave diving worldwide, with thousands of hours and kilometers of exploration in Cenotes. The X-Balam is a system very directed to caving-diving due to its great versatility. The X-Balam has been designed as a minimalist and versatile system: includes a whole series of hardware to be able to configure the harness and poles in different ways. This hardware is delivered disassembled so that the diver can configure it according to his needs, preferences and adapting the lengths of the bungees (see detail image).

The X-Balam is a system very directed to caving-diving due to its great versatility.
The X-Balam has been designed as a minimalist and versatile system: includes a whole series of hardware to be able to configure the harness and poles in different ways. This hardware is delivered disassembled so that the diver can configure it according to his needs, preferences and adapting the lengths of the bungees (see detail image).
The upper and lower plates (triangular and trapezoidal) are perforated to allow these different custom configurations, and include threaded holes for certain elements (included in the hardware).
To complete the system, the X-Balam incorporates a sidemount tool-accessory pocket with three separate compartments. The main compartment is adjustable in size due to a quick-lock zipper system that adjusts the size according to the contents and incorporates interior bungees for securing the tools. The secondary compartments, on both sides of the main compartment, have a zipper (front) and Velcro (rear) closure. Includes the two double trigger carabiners for attaching to the harness and comes embroidered to match the wing.
